Senior Project Engineer

Location: Horton & West Wickham

£450-£500/day Inside IR35 or Up to £75k Permanent

Advance TRS are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong Civil Engineering background to join a major water sector delivery team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a key role in delivering complex engineering projects, working closely with the Project Manager, design teams, site teams, supply chain and clients from design through to construction and commissioning.

The Role

Manage and coordinate design, construction and commissioning activities
Drive project programmes, milestones, risk and cost control
Lead design liaison and collaborative planning meetings
Coordinate site teams, designers and supply chain partners
Support procurement, tendering and commercial management
Identify opportunities for innovation, improved delivery and reduced risk
Work closely with the Project Manager and QS to monitor project performance
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification

About You

Strong Project Engineering / Project Management experience
A Civil Engineering or construction-related degree/equivalent
Experience delivering engineering projects under NEC3
Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and H&S legislation
Proven experience managing programmes, costs, risks and stakeholders
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Water sector experience is desirable, particularly non-infrastructure
P6, APMP or Chartered/near Chartered status would be advantageous
