Senior Project Manager
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity to sit at the heart of the business - bridging the gap between customers and site teams, steering high-value projects from kick-off through to completion.
About the Role
You'll be the go-to person for a portfolio of client projects, balancing timescales, budgets and quality standards while keeping everyone pulling in the same direction. Expect plenty of variety, working alongside Business Development, R&D, Operations, Quality and Finance on projects spanning process development, GMP manufacturing and beyond.
Your Day-to-Day
Running several projects at once, keeping a close eye on scope, timelines, budgets and key milestones
Being the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and confident every step of the way
Building and maintaining clear, well-organised project documentation and risk logs
Spotting problems - and scope changes - before they become issues, and working with clients to find a way forward
Keeping track of project finances and feeding into revenue reporting
Supporting and developing newer members of the team
Helping shape better ways of working across the wider project management functionWhat You'll Bring
Solid experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry
A strong track record managing client relationships in a Project Management capacity
Time spent working within contract manufacturing or a CRO environment
Confidence leading cross-functional teams and getting buy-in from stakeholders at every level
A good grasp of GMP and the regulatory landscape
A relevant science-based degree
Formal project management training or certification would be an advantage
Comfortable using standard project management and office software
Strong communication skills, with the ability to hold your own in a room full of stakeholdersWhat's In It For You
