Duties include:

Use technical equipment to carry out dimensional and surface inspection correct to design specification.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to research new technology and meet product development needs.

Work with the engineering and validation team through the inspection method and measurement process to confirm requirements.

Complete detailed inspection reports to communicate technical information clearly.

Conduct equipment calibration and maintenance.

Ensure health & safety is compliant to the IATF 16949 standard.

The successful candidate will have / be:

Previous experience in the field of dimensional metrology or precision engineering.

A degree in a relevant engineering discipline. A master’s degree is desirable.

Used equipment such as manual and digital microscopes and contact and optical metrology measurement instruments.

The ability to interpret complex GD&T specifications.

Preferably worked in automotive sectors and have knowledge of fuel injection systems and diesel engines.

The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
