We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Information Manager. This is a new and pivotal role to XMA which represents an opportunity to shape how the business ensures the quality of its product data to endable growth across our categories, along with the initial development of business processes. You will be responsible for developing a PIM team within XMA and the strategy that will deliver business growth.
The Senior Product Information Manager will be responsible for working with senior stakeholders to establish business rules for product data, including XMAs vendor managers, the supply chain manager and the pricing team.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
The Senior Product Information Manager will grow XMA’s business by supporting product discovery, enabling sales channels, and presenting new opportunities for promotion and upselling through the provision of comprehensive and accurate product data.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing the processes that will ensure XMA’s product data is accurate and fit for purpose.
Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of XMA’s product data including establishing the product set up conventions and ensure they are adhered to.
Defining the product data standards.
Processing exceptions from the automated product creation process.
Developing and maintaining business rules relating to our product data including supplier cost aggregation and vendor rebates.
REQUIREMENTS:
This role will suit someone with experience of working with a PIM platform, who also has a background in stakeholder management, leading a team and who has worked in IT or a related services industry.
