The position of a Senior Process Engineer will play a pivatol role in leading the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for both internal operations and external clients. You'll also mentor junior team members and manage project or design teams on diverse assignments. Our client is a pioneer in cutting-edge energy solutions, specialising in energy from waste, biomass, anaerobic digestion, carbon capture, and energy storage projects.

The role of a Senior Process Engineer:

As our Senior Process Engineer, you'll:

* Lead the Process Engineering discipline within our technical department, driving excellence in project delivery and technical innovation.

* Produce high-quality client deliverables while ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

* Chair Design Risk Assessments and contribute to the development of our process engineering standards.

* Mentor and develop our team of process engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

* Drive the development and implementation of process and functional safety initiatives across our business.

* Travel as needed to project sites and offices, both domestically and internationally, to support project delivery and client engagement.

Skills & Qualifications:

We're looking for candidates who bring:

* A minimum of a BEng Degree in process engineering, along with chartered status from a recognized institute.

* Proven expertise in Process Safety, Functional Safety, or HAZOP leadership.

* A minimum of 10 years of practical experience as an industrial engineer.

* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent.

* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, process engineering standards, and design principles.

* Proficiency in interpreting technical documents and engineering drawings.

* Experience in project management and delivering results on time and within budget.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
