Senior Process Engineer

Description:

OLG Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Process Engineer for our client located in Warrington. This is a contract position for a minimum of 10 months. This role has been assessed as inside IR35, PAYE only. You will be required on site 3 days per week and 2 days from home.

The role:

The role is a Senior / Lead Process Engineering Role working within the existing Process Engineering Team. The role is to deliver overarching high-level Process and Project documentation to support delivery of SEP 3. This will include, but not be limited to, defining and producing Hazard management Strategies, Basis of Process Safety, Basis of Design etc. Delivery will include responsibility for production of the documents and obtaining the necessary approvals, governance and assurance. Support in other Project areas may be required as programme and project priorities dictate.

Expectation that 2 to 3 days per week will be spent on site in Warrington with the existing Process Design Team with the remainder of time spent WFH or in other offices.

Essential:

* Able to achieve Baseline security clearance (minimum)

* Minimum BEng/BSc Process / Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Nuclear Design

* Understanding / experience of developing Hazard Management Strategies

* Fulfil role of ‘Designer’ under the CDM Regulations

* Awareness of relevant national and international codes, specifications, standards and legislation relevant to Process Engineering Design

* Good verbal and written communication skills

Experience:

* Senior / Lead Process Engineer with experience of Nuclear Process Engineering design and developing Hazard Management Strategies and other overarching process documentation.

* The candidate will require resilience, the ability to engage and source information and the ability to manage priorities and demands.

Desirable Experience:

* Knowledge of SEMS

* Baseline security cleared

* Previous SL experience
