Senior Process Engineer

Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Process Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in North Yorkshire who have continued to see exceptional growth drive an every expanding technical team in 2024.

Reporting into the sites senior engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering a hands on engineering role focused on process analysis, operational/yield improvements, fault finding, value stream mapping and more. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious engineer wanting to grow and develop under excellent management and build their career within a role that provides autonomy and varied technical challenges.

The Senior Process Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:

• Identifying, planning and implementing continuous improvement projects across various areas of the business
• Developing existing processes and support the introduction of new technologies in line with improvement targets, yields, fault finding and more
• Carrying out hands on engineering duties across a range of processes to deliver project solutions
• Ensuring Process improvement activities adhere to the appropriate quality and health and safety requirements
• Project Management, Implementation and OTIF delivery of all engineering projects within assigned value stream
• Hands on technical expertise within relevant fields
• Championing continuous improvement initiatives whilst working closely with operations and engineering teams
• Become a leader within the development of robust production quality control and scrap reduction methodologies
• Take the initiative with process engineering activities through proactive process analysis and liaison with teams cross functionally

We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Degree or relevant HND within an engineering field
• Experience within FMCG, Food, Processing or similar
• A good understanding of a range of manufacturing processes (preferably high volume)
• Knowledge and implementation of continuous improvement tools (Lean/Six Sigma etc.)
• Experience supporting key projects of varying scales
