Description:
We are looking for a Senior practitioner/ Advanced Practitioner to provide effective help and protection to children, young people, families and carers. This is for a 3 month contract. Must have a driving liscence.
Main purpose of the Job Role:
- To undertake effective assessment, Planning and direct work to safeguard children and young people and meet their needs, and the needs of the families and carers.
- To procatice social work in a transparent, accountable and safe way in accordance woth professional standards and ethics.
- To be practice leader, and to lead the develpment of high quality of practice and service delivery within the team.
- To support all frontline practiotioner sin the team, and to be awaz\re of and manage performance within the team.
- Responsible for ASYE social workers, and child and family officers.
Additional information:
A managed caseload is provided. For experienced staff the aim is for 15 or 16 chiuldren maximum with various plans and situations. The Family Safeguarding Model is used which supports social workers through the having adult specialist practitioners embedded in social work teams
