About the Role:
Are you an experienced Social Worker looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client in Southend is seeking a Senior Practitioner to join their Fostering Support team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and support a team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and foster families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and support to foster carers, ensuring the best outcomes for children in foster care.
Lead complex casework and provide supervision to less experienced team members.
Conduct thorough assessments and regular reviews of foster placements.
Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practices in all aspects of foster care.
Requirements:
Degree in Social Work.
Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
Extensive experience in fostering or a related field.
Proven ability to manage complex cases and supervise other social workers.
Valid drivers license and access to a car.
