CEN Resources are working in partnership with a well establish energy consultancy who are currently recruiting for a Senior Power Systems Engineer for their operations in Newcastle. The successful applicant should have an understanding of feasibility studies, due diligence and connection application processes. This role offers great future career aspects and, applicants must have a desire to manage and assist other junior engineers and graduates.
Responsibilities
* Network connection assessments and feasibility studies
* Managing connection applications for onshore and offshore wind farms, Solar PV generators, CHP / biomass plants
* Liasing with DNOs, TOs and the ESO on behalf of developers and attending project meetings
* Support clients through post connection process - commissioning and testing.
Desired Qualifications/Experience
* Degree qualified
* Technical Due Diligence
* Energy Storage System
* Power systems analysis
* Management of connection studies (grid code compliance)
