Description:

Senior Power Platform Developer required by a leading professional services organisation based in central Bristol.

Salary: up to £65,000 + 10–15% bonus
Hybrid working: 3 days onsite per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Power Platform Developer to join a busy and successful IT Development team. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver enterprise-scale automation, applications and integrations across the Microsoft Power Platform. This is a senior position combining hands-on technical delivery with technical leadership, governance and mentoring responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

* Lead the design, development, testing and release of complex solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform.

* Work closely with stakeholders to analyse requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions.

* Provide technical leadership, mentoring and code review to developers within the team.

* Define and promote development standards, best practice and governance across Power Platform solutions.

* Ensure solutions meet appropriate security, data governance and change management standards.

* Design and implement integrations with Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs and third-party systems.

* Work as part of an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to planning, estimation and delivery.

* Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure effective handover to support teams.

* Provide high-level support and troubleshooting for business-critical applications.

* Drive continuous improvement across processes, tooling and Power Platform capability.

* Explore opportunities to utilise AI, automation and emerging Microsoft technologies.

The Ideal Candidate

* Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.

* Strong experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions and leading technical design.

* Experience working with integrations, APIs and Azure services.

* Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security and environment strategy.

* Proficiency in JavaScript and/or C#.

* Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and using Azure DevOps.

* Strong analytical, methodical and problem-solving approach.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

* Experience mentoring and supporting junior developers.

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

* Experience with Power BI and reporting solutions.

* Experience leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, generative AI or intelligent agents.

* Experience working within professional services.

* Experience supporting digital transformation or business change programmes.
