I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Banbury who are seeking a Senior Plant Quality Lead to join their team.
Job Description
As Senior Plant Quality Lead your main responsibilities are:
Leading and driving the function; developing the Quality capability and team; delivering the factory launch planning and project for Quality (APQP etc); preparing and leading the function to deliver our targets for production start and beyond.
Plan and develop a strategy for the business certification of further quality standards as required such as AS9100, TS16949
Develop and manage the organisation's quality assurance strategy to support the overall business strategy
Plan the effective deployment of SQA, Quality Engineer and Quality Technician resource to support the needs of the business
Manage internal and third-party audit programmes and compliance to certification / standards
Support the development of PFMEA, control plans and work instructions
Develop product quality standards in conjunction with projects and customers
Carry out staff appraisals of all reports and develop action plans to develop staff competence and capabilityQualifications / Skills needed
