Senior Planner – Industrial & Logistics
Location: Derbyshire
Travel: 1–2 site visits per week

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering major projects across the industrial and logistics sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Planner or Senior Planner looking to join a well-established and highly regarded contractor, working on a range of large-scale projects across the region.
The role will be based in Derbyshire, with the successful candidate required to attend project sites approximately 1–2 times per week, depending on project requirements.
You will play a key role in the planning and delivery of projects, working closely with the project teams, commercial teams and senior management to develop and maintain robust programmes and ensure projects are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, manage and maintain detailed project programmes
* Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and Commercial Teams
* Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or risks
* Produce regular programme updates and reports
* Assist with short, medium and long-term planning
* Review project performance and provide recommendations for mitigation
* Manage changes to programme and assess their impact on project delivery
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
* Attend site regularly to review progress and ensure programme information remains accurate
* Support the wider project team with planning, sequencing and project delivery
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within the construction industry
* Experience working on industrial, logistics, warehouse or similar large-scale projects highly desirable
* Previous experience working for a Tier 1 main contractor preferred
* Strong understanding of construction programmes and project sequencing
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to analyse project progress and identify potential programme risks
* Strong knowledge of planning software such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6
* Comfortable travelling to site 1–2 times per week
