Senior Planner | Major Infrastructure
Location: Near High Wycombe
Contract: Freelance
Duration: 12 Months
We’re recruiting a Senior Planner to join a Tier 1 JV delivering a major infrastructure project.
The role will focus on producing programmes for upcoming works while managing the interfaces between overlapping packages. You’ll work closely with package leads, subcontractors and self delivery teams to make sure works are properly sequenced and delivery issues are identified early.
The role will involve:
• Producing 3 week to 6 month programmes for upcoming works
• Reviewing programmes against overlapping activities and identifying clashes or interface issues
• Working with package leads and subcontractors to develop practical solutions to delivery constraints
• Producing clear sequencing plans and visual presentations for subcontractor and self delivery teams
• Attending progress and coordination meetings and tracking delivery against programme
• Using construction experience to challenge unrealistic programme information and highlight risks
• Monitoring progress on site and updating short term programmes accordingly
You’ll need strong planning experience within major infrastructure or large scale construction, with experience using P6, Asta or MS Project. A good understanding of construction sequencing and the ability to turn programme information into clear, practical solutions for delivery teams is key.
12 month freelance opportunity, based near High Wycombe, working within a Tier 1 JV on a major infrastructure project.
