I am currently looking speak with Senior Piping Material Engineer who will take up the position for our client based in London.

Company Background

The client is a leading engineering and technology company for the energy industry and chemicals sector who are involved in new energy projects such as hydrogen/ ccs.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and delivering piping materials specifications and piping material class specifications for Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects in accordance with the project scope of work.
Carrying out piping material take-offs and managing and controlling the bill of quantity of materials through all project phases for estimating and procurement activities.
Developing piping material specifications and datasheets in accordance with relevant codes and standards applicable to the project (e.g., ASME, BS, NACE).
Calculating and determining pipe wall thicknesses and flange ratings.
Developing and delivering valve datasheets.
Developing and delivering technical specifications for the supply of piping.
Developing and delivering piping material requisitions.
Conducting technical bid evaluation and technical selection of vendors.
Reviewing and checking vendor documentation to comply with project requirements.
Providing input and assisting with the development of material selection diagrams.

Background

A mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Extensive experience in onshore piping materials for petrochemical plants.
Demonstrated previous Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC experience.
Detailed experience as a piping materials engineer.
Experience in the selection, development, and delivery of piping material specifications.
