Description:

NRL’s client in Renfrew is seeking a highly skilled Senior Piping Designer for a long-term contract, operating inside IR35.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience as a Piping Designer in regulated industries such as Oil and Gas.
Ongoing experience in a Senior Piping Designer role or ready to step up in this position.
Degree level education in an Engineering discipline.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Navisworks, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Familiarity with hydrocarbon/COMAH sites and permit to work systems.
Competency in site surveying.
Ability to conduct line walking of P&ID’s.
Experience developing documents for the fabrication and installation of various piping systems.
Know-how of compliance with current client and ASME standards.
Comfortable completing tasks as directed by the Lead Designer/Project Manager, adhering to specified time and budget constraints, attending client meetings (e.g., design reviews, coordination, and progress meetings) and liaising with client representatives.
Familiar with creating and modifying construct and destruct P&ID’s, isometrics, general arrangements, and layout designs.What's in it for you:
