Job Title: Senior Piping Designer

Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Piping Designer to contribute to our ongoing and upcoming projects. About the Role: As a Senior Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of piping systems for our chemical manufacturing plant. Utilizing your expertise in CAD software for both 2D and 3D design, you will ensure that our projects meet high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This position is a 6-month rolling contract, offering continuous work and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed piping designs using CAD software (2D and 3D).
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
Prepare and review piping layout drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
Perform site visits and field surveys to gather data and verify existing conditions.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated and cohesive design solutions.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafters.
Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and best practices.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of design changes and project updates.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Piping Designer in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D design (e.g., AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or similar).
Strong knowledge of piping materials, specifications, and standards.
Ability to interpret and create P&IDs, isometrics, and piping layout drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
