Why do we need a Digital Performance Analyst like you?

You'll be joining a close-knit team at the heart of one DWP's highest priority transformation projects - the Health Transformation programme. This team is responsible for both the Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and Health Assessment services.

We need information about how our digital services are being used and whether they meet our users' needs.

Gathering and analysing data helps us make better, more-informed choices. Your mission will be to turn data into stories that help our product teams provide a great user experience.

You'll bring user journey data to life for your agile, multidisciplinary teams.

You'll help others us understand the complexity of user behaviour by analysing data across the whole lifecycle - from its rawest form to generating insights.

And you'll develop meaningful performance measures to methodically test your hypotheses, progress against priorities and the impacts of changes.

You'll also need to be able build and nurture relationships - so you can guide to continuous improvement and influence better user journeys.

You will manage a small team of digital performance analysts who will provide you with the capacity to provide insightful analysis..

This is leadership role. You'll get hands on with any complex elements of this work but also set strategic priorities, projects and direction

Essential criteria

You can nurture a deep understanding of business goals and can turn these into tangible performance measures.
You can work with and influence senior stakeholders.
You can prioritise and delegate work.
You can carry out robust and statistically sound analysis that enables teams to reach conclusions.
You have coding experience to perform analysis (such as SQL, Python or R).

You'll be asked to answer a question (in 250 words) when you apply on the subject of 'Performance Measurement'.
