Senior Paralegal - Conveyancing
Milton Keynes
£30,000 - £33,000
Full Time, Permanent (9:00am - 5:30pm)
Are you an experienced Paralegal with solid experience in residential and commercial property matters?
If so, come and join a reputable law firm with a strong focus on residential conveyancing who pride themselves on providing first-class client care and delivering excellent legal services.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, including new build purchases, help-to-buy schemes, remortgages, and shared ownership transactions.
Drafting and checking sales contracts, agreeing on terms, and collating supporting legal and financial documents.
Handling all financial aspects of transactions, including undertaking full SOF/SOW.
Exchanging contracts and completing transactions.
Managing leasehold property agreements, including obtaining landlord consent and dealing with rent and service charge apportionments.
Receiving and checking mortgage instructions from lenders, preparing transfer and mortgage deeds, and receiving mortgage funds.
Conducting thorough searches, preparing reports, and liaising with the Land Registry.
Demonstrating excellent client care and communication skills by updating clients, agents, and solicitors.
