Senior Operations Manager

Salary: Up to £80,000
Alexander Steele are delighted to be partnering with a growing food manufacturing business to support the appointment of a Senior Operations Manager during an exciting period of expansion.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day running of site operations. You will lead production, quality, supply chain, and logistics teams, ensuring performance, efficiency, and compliance across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading daily operations across production, quality, and supply chain
* Driving improvements in efficiency, yield, cost, and service levels
* Managing production planning, labour, and materials availability
* Ensuring food safety, quality, and H&S standards (HACCP / BRCGS)
* Supporting growth and CapEx projects, including equipment and process improvements
* Developing teams and building strong operational structure and accountability
About you:
* Proven operational leadership experience within food manufacturing
* Strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and factory performance
* Experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on SME environment
* Track record of delivering improvements and supporting business growth
* Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach
