Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for a large UK business operating within the international logistics and supply chain industry.
Drive commercial growth, operational performance, and profitability across all business functions.
Lead and develop senior management teams across Operations, Sales, Commercial, Customer Service, and Shared Services.
Deliver business objectives through effective leadership, strategic planning, and performance management.
Develop and implement long-term business strategies to support continued growth and market expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities and maximise revenue through commercial excellence.
Ensure exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Lead organisational change and business transformation initiatives where required.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
Represent the business at senior customer meetings, commercial negotiations, and industry events.Requirements:

Director/Senior Director-level experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
Extensive leadership across Operations, Sales, Commercial, and Customer Service.
Proven success leading large, multi-disciplinary teams in complex logistics environments.
Strong commercial, financial, and operational acumen, including budget and P&L ownership.
Proven track record of driving growth, profitability, and strategic business plans.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence at executive level and build strong customer and partner relationships.
Strong understanding of international logistics, supply chain operations, and market dynamics.
Container shipping, ocean freight, or international liner experience highly advantageous.
Results-driven, adaptable, and willing to travel in the UK and internationally.
