Job Description:

We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Onsite Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing on-site technical support and solutions to our client base in and around the West Midlands. We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills, a background in IT, and the adeptness to adapt to various challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Onsite technical support and assistance to clients within the West Midlands.

* Proficiently troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

* Deploy, configure, and maintain IT systems and equipment tailored to client specifications.

* Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to identify and implement effective IT solutions.

* Document all technical issues, resolutions, and configurations for future reference.

* Remain up to date on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

* Working on the service desk when you are in the office,

Minimum Requirements:

* 5 or more years’ experience as a Senior Onsite Engineer or similar role

* Knowledge in firewalls, switches, routers, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

* Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving network issues, including wireless infrastructure.

* Strong technical expertise across hardware, software, and networking concepts.

* Experience with Windows Server and Windows Desktop Operating Systems.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.

* Proven track record of working independently and thinking critically to solve complex problems.

* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites across the United Kingdom when required.

* Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Preferred Qualifications (desired not required):

* Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+)

* Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating strong client relationship management skills.

* Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices to streamline service delivery processes.

* Previous experience in an MSP, managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
