Senior NPD Technologist
Up to £38,000 per annum
Diamond Search Recruitment are seeking a Senior NPD Technologist working for a brand-new client of ours based in Wales.
The role will be Mon- Fri – 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
* To manage customer accounts with NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch.
* Direct contact with key retailers, face to face, and written communication.
* Create and develop innovative designs, capturing new key trends and designs for both NPD & EPD projects.
* Work closely with process technologist to organise trials, ensuring all raw materials are ordered in advance.
* Support production and process team throughout trial stages.
* Champion recipe creation and all documentation throughout concept to launch process including recipes, submission forms, QAS/CQM’s, launch folders and factory paperwork.
* Undertake all tasks associated with product launch.
* Responsible for sourcing new ingredients, fit for purpose for the design & costs.
* Responsible or sending out kitchen samples and to meet the required delivery times.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Educated to Degree level
* NPD background
* Level 3 HACCP
* Food Hygiene qualified
* Good creative & Innovation skills
* Accuracy/attention to detail
* A good understanding of the functions in food ingredients
