Senior .NET Developer
Contract until 31st of March 2025
Cardiff – Hybrid or remote working
£200 per day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using .NET technologies. This role requires managing the full systems development life cycle, ensuring the effective implementation of software solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet the organization’s needs, particularly within an NHS environment.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologies
* Manage the full systems development life-cycle, ensuring effective implementation of software solutions
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs
* Provide technical guidance and support to development staff
* Ensure compliance with formal analysis and logical design methodologies
* Participate in the evaluation of new technologies and their potential applications within the organization
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in systems/API development, in .NET and HL7
* Ability to provide support to staff regarding IT development issues
* Understanding of Agile Project Management methodology
* Database Administration skills – Oracle, SQL Server, No-SQL
* Knowledge of Spark and Hadoop
* Design experience using Oracle Designer and IBM Rational Rose
* Familiarity with multi-user operating systems e.g. UNIX, Windows, Linux
Additional requirements:
* Experience working in the NHS
Working Arrangements:
The office base is in Cardiff. Occasional onsite work may be required without negotiation on the day rate. Flexibility and adaptability to changing working arrangements are essential.
