Senior MRI Radiographer
London
Permanent, full time hours (with on-call & weekend requirements) 4 or 5 day shift pattern considered
Salary up to £50,000 per annum DOE plus benefits
Duties & Responsibilities
* As a Senior Radiographer in MRI, you’ll provide a high level of customer-focussed care to our patients and service users through high quality diagnostic radiography.
* Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways.
* Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
* Assist the day to day running of the imaging service
* Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
* •Assist with staff orientation and training.
* Experience with paediatric patients desirable but not necessary
Skills & Experience:
* Essential: Bsc Radiology
* Essential: HCPC registered
* Essential: Minimum 2 years MRI experience within the UK
* Essential: Understand the fundamentals of MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences
