The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Senior Mechanical Engineer?

Demonstrating exceptional engineering judgment and decision-making skills to drive the success of projects and initiatives.
Working across a diverse range of tasks, including shock qualification, collation of information, and gathering evidence to support complex mechanical designs.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions seamlessly into our product development process.
Identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and optimize mechanical performance.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.

What are we looking for in our next Senior Mechanical Engineer?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong proficiency in independent engineering judgment and decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
Ability to perform shock/vibration analysis and hand calculations to support Engineering Lead and the ability to gather and analyse data to support complex mechanical designs.Desirable:

Experience of complex mechanical engineering design, for example, rotating machinery, engine, or transmission components.
Experience of using CAD design software, drafting, and tolerancing.
