We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based in the West Midlands.

Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Hours: Full Time, Permanent - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality mechanical engineering services across our projects. Working within Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME), our internal MEP self-delivery business, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting regional businesses and strategic projects across sectors including custodial, education, commercial, health, and science. 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering compliant, safe, and efficient mechanical engineering solutions. Your day to day will include:

Ensuring all works are procured, planned, and carried out safely in accordance with Kier standards, project requirements, and legislation

Reviewing designs with design teams and clients to optimise construction efficiency, safety, and compliance

Managing robust change control processes and identifying risks and opportunities

Implementing quality control procedures and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle

Providing leadership and guidance to project team members, setting clear expectations and supporting their development

You're technically knowledgeable in mechanical services and safety, holding a relevant industry accredited qualification

You have CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum
