A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services Engineering) sought in London.
My client is looking for a Senior to Principal level Mechanical Design Engineer to join a progressive yet independent Building Services Design Consultancy overseeing a team within their London-based office.
Our client operates nationally from a series of hubs throughout the UK offering Mechanical and Electrical Design Solutions to an array of sectors spanning from Education through to Commercial, MoD, Medical / Healthcare etc. They are fortunate to continually be looking to expand due to continued repeat work.
As an experienced Mechanical Building Service Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate a portfolio of completed projects with excellent technical knowledge of Mechanical Building Services Engineering.
You will be able to take control and lead your own projects of various sizes and deliver a high-quality design on time and to clients’ expectations with the added pleasure/responsibility for mentoring Junior Engineers and contributing to their professional growth and development.
Client-facing activities including site and design team meetings.
Working with the latest software packages, you will also be competent in AutoCAD and some experience of REVIT, additional IT packages would be advantageous.
Qualifications
What you’ll need to succeed,
* At least 4 years post qualification experience in Building Services Engineering (Mechanical / HVAC)
* Have excellent communication and IT skills (AutoCAD, Revit etc)
* Formal HNC or above in either Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering would be seen in high regard
* Professional affiliations such as CIBSE would be seen in high regard
