Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER in West Cumbria.
This is to work with our Client in the Nuclear Industry and the role can be either based in the Cockermouth office / worked on a hybrid basis / or based at home.
Existing Security Clearance would be preferable in order to start on the Project ASAP.
We are looking for Candidates who are suitably qualified and experienced with working on Nuclear licensed sites, especially at Sellafield.
The successful Candidate will be proficient in CAD modelling and drawing to BS8888 in Inventor.
Ability to produce Mechanical calculations and manufacturing drawings
Experienced in piping design
Experience in detailing and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in AutoCAD, MathCAD would be advantageous
