Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, support new product introduction, and deliver operational excellence within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate process issues and product non-conformances using structured problem-solving techniques.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and the transfer of products into manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
3+ years' experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, including Daily Management, Standard Work, and Lean Conversion.
Background in process and equipment improvement within a regulated industry.
Desirable
Experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Medical Device manufacturing environments.
Experience working in cleanroom manufacturing.
Six Sigma qualification or demonstrated application of Six Sigma tools.
CAD design experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
