DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator – Reading (On-Site)

An opportunity is available for a DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator to join a specialist team supporting a secure, large-scale big data platform for a critical national infrastructure programme.

Location: Reading – 100% On-Site, Monday–Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

* Administer, maintain and optimise Linux server environments.

* Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.

* Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting.

* Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage and performance issues.

* Support secure IT infrastructure and CI/CD environments.

Essential Skills:

* Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux or similar)

* VMware vSphere/ESXi

* Ansible or equivalent automation tools

* Bash/shell scripting

* Networking, storage and troubleshooting

* CI/CD and infrastructure security
