Job Role: Senior Line Leader
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am-3.00pm
Salary: £29,000.00 per annum

gap personnel Bristol are acting as an employment business, currently working in partnership with the UK’s leading cosmetics company Elemis. gap personnel are currently looking for a Senior Line Leader based in Avonmouth, Bristol,BS11 and Filton, Bristol, BS34 (flexibility required) . As a Senior Line Leader, you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member overseeing and guiding packing team towards achieving project and goals with efficiency and coherence.
Job Responsibilities:
* Preparing work according to production schedule and assign workers production line tasks.
* Evaluating incoming orders and setting up the production line accordingly.
* Optimising packing line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
* Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner.
* Training and supervising new packing line workers.
* Complete a comprehensive shift report at the end of each shift, record accurately all downtime and inform line manager.
* Support the line manager on continuous improvement activities.
* Identify problems which may occur and take appropriate action to resolve the situation, updating managers or other departments as necessary.
The Candidate:
* Good level and standard of UK/European education or equivalent
* Clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal
* Experience in leading teams preferred
* Goos PC skills, especially MS Excel
* Strong planning and organising skills
* Results oriented
* Ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines
* A flexible approach and a proactive attitude
