Our client based near St. Albans are seeking a Senior Legal Cashier to join them in a permanent position, based on skills and relevant experience the salary is up to £34k. Senior Legal Cashier
Responsibilities
Supervise banking functions including bank reconciliations.
Process client and office accounting transactions including postings.
Supervise and assist in the sending of monies by electronic transfer
Assist with the control of designated client deposit accounts including monthly reconciliation.
Processing new clients including ensuring AML procedures are followed and dealing with source of funds issues that arise.
Advising fee earners on AML requirements in line with the Firms procedures and processing them through First AML, used for electronic ID, and checking.
Manage all Land Registry and Companies House fees.
Petty Cash
Dealing with any accounts queries as may arise from time to time.
Assisting the credit controller as and when needed
Advising the Finance Director on the application of SAR in respect of transactions being carried out.
Preparation of monthly summary of bank SAR reconciliation.
To supervise the printing of ledgers and photocopying in preparation for the annual SAR audit.
Assisting with the annual professional indemnity insurance renewal process.
