An industry-leading organisation experiencing significant year-on-year growth is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Manager to take ownership of a £50m technology spend portfolio and play a key leadership role within an expanding procurement function.
This is far more than a traditional category management position.
Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you'll lead strategic sourcing activity across software licensing, SaaS, infrastructure, hardware, data centres and IT professional services, while helping shape the future of the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end procurement activity across IT Products & Services
Develop and implement category strategies aligned to business objectives
Lead complex sourcing, negotiation and supplier management activities
Drive commercial value, cost optimisation and risk reduction
Influence senior stakeholders across technology, finance and operations
Manage and develop a small team, providing coaching and mentorship
Build and enhance procurement processes, governance and best practice
Support wider business transformation and technology initiatives
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5 years' dedicated IT Procurement experience
Strong software licensing and SaaS procurement expertise
Experience across infrastructure, hardware, data centres and professional services
Track record managing significant technology spend
Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Previous team leadership or line management experience
Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, evolving environment
MCIPS desirable
