Senior IT Hardware Technician - £37,500-£40,000 + £4,500 car allowance
Bournemouth
An opportunity to join a leading organisation headquartered in Bournemouth as the Senior IT Hardware Technician.
The role will play a key role in sourcing, configuring. deploying and supporting IT hardware for the business. You will have managerial responsibilities over one other Hardware Technician and together drive change and efficiency in supporting business hardware requirements.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Hardware setup and support
* Laptops, desktops, mobile devices, routers, switches, access points
* Builds, installations and ongoing support
Asset Management
* Procurement of hardware and managing stock levels
* Maintaining inventory records
Team Management
* Line management, coaching, 1-2-1’s of a junior permanent Hardware Technician and other temporary technicians
Does this sound like you?
* 3 years + experience providing IT hardware support
* Confident in building and deploying mobile devices and laptops
* Ability to configure and install switches and routers
* Great communication and teamwork skills
* An ITIL qualification / MCP cert or similar would be a bonus
The role will be based out of the Bournemouth head office with very occasional visits to regional sites, so a car and driving license will be required
