Senior iOS Engineer (Contract)
Type: 6 Month Contract with Potential extension - Inside IR35
Location: United Kingdom - Remote
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Core Experience team. In this role, you will build trusted family experiences (Managed Accounts, parental controls, shared listening) while maintaining the foundational platform stacks-main layout, navigation, and settings-that squads across the app rely on to ship reliably.
What You'll Do
Build scalable iOS features tailored for youth safety, parental trust, and family engagement.
Architect and maintain shared, backward-compatible UI frameworks and navigation systems.
Adopt an agentic-first development workflow (using tools like Cursor and Claude) to accelerate delivery and prototyping.
Translate complex regulatory, privacy, and safety mandates into clean, reliable technical implementations.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across product, legal, policy, and design.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of professional iOS development experience with modern Swift and Cocoa design patterns.
Agentic workflow adoption: Hands-on experience integrating tools like Cursor and Claude into daily engineering.
Platform & API design: Proven track record building shared components with a focus on backward compatibility and client-server integration.
Safety & privacy mindset: Genuine interest in designing compliant, secure experiences for young audiences.
Collaborative leadership: Strong cross-functional communication and a team-over-self mentality.
Bonus: Prior exposure to C++ or Android development.Bonus Points
