Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Team Leader
North Bristol - Hybrid working arrangements / Free Parking on-site
Salary £65-£80k + benefits
CPS Group are have partnered with a successful Engineering Technology business that provides Software and Systems to the Public Sector.
Due to continued success they have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Team Leader to join their Bristol based IT Team.
You will lead a team that designs, implements and administers IT Infrastructure for systems, test and integration environments.
You will also work closely with product and project teams to delivery tailored systems and strategies for a range of production environments.
The role:
* Lead the identification of requirements to design and implement IT systems such as - workstations builds, network architecture, firewall and VPN config, systems configuration
* Team Management
* Systems Administration and Development
* Deployment of Operating Systems and software updates
* Configuration management
* Review, support and supervise the work of junior team members
* Provide support and input on technical IT solutions and systems for new bids/proposals
Skills / experience
* Experience within a similar Infrastructure Team Lead or Management role
* Hyper V / Virtualisation environment experience
* Windows 10/11 - ideally with MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
* Cloud hosted services
* IaC - Infrastructure as Code / CI/ CD (Jenkins / Gitlab)
* Networking Protocols
* SQL Databases
* Linux experience an advantage
* Any experience with Process Automation / Terraform / Docker / Kubernetes an advantage
