Are you a confident, practical HR generalist looking for a role with real ownership, autonomy, and influence, who is available for a 14-month fixed term contract?
This iconic brand has its manufacturing site in the centre of Northampton and is looking for a Senior HR Advisor (or HRBP) to join them in November.
This is a broad, hands-on generalist position where you will partner directly with managers to deliver people activities across Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training, Engagement, etc.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Offer clear and practical advice to line managers on people challenges in their teams (workforce planning, training needs, performance and conduct issues)
Partner with the HR Director to deliver the People strategy for the operation, as they modernise and evolve a very traditional industry
This is a small team of 2 so you'll be doing all your own admin, across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
Design and deliver a variety of training, culture and engagement activities across different groups of employees, from managers to operatives
Be the first point of contact for all employees and managers (140 people total) as a visible, approachable and personable HR support to the team
What We Are Looking For:
Proven generalist HR experience with strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidelines.
Confident Employee Relations skills with the ability to hold challenging conversations and provide decisive advice.
Background working in HR within manufacturing, warehousing or other industrial environment.
Happy to be on site 5 days per week (you can work from home on Friday afternoons if you wish!)
