Description:
Interim or Permanent Senior HR Advisor
£45,000 - £55,000 | Hucknall | Immediate Start | Interim (3-6 months) or Permanent
Are you the kind of HR professional who thrives when others shy away from complexity?
We're supporting a well-established manufacturing business in Hucknall that is undergoing significant organisational change and transformation. As a result, we're looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor who can hit the ground running, build credibility quickly and provide confident, hands-on HR support from day one.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action. You'll work closely with managers and employees, supporting a wide range of employee relations matters, organisational change initiatives and day-to-day HR operations within a busy operational environment.
Most importantly, we need someone who is available to start quickly. Whether you're looking for an interim assignment or a permanent opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
This is a broad generalist position where no two days are the same.
Managing complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters
Supporting organisational change, consultations and changes to working practices
Advising and coaching managers through challenging people situations
Supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through to exit
Preparing employment documentation and maintaining accurate HR records
Working closely with operational leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR support
Balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to HR delivery
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a resilient HR professional who can confidently navigate a business going through substantial change.
Strong HR generalist experience within a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Business Partner level role
Significant employee relations experience
Experience supporting consultation processes, organisational change or workforce restructuring
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
The confidence to challenge, influence and support managers at all levels
Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, logistics or another operational environment
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
A genuinely thick skin and the resilience to operate effectively in a changing environment where not everyone will embrace new ways of working immediately
Why Apply?
This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact during a pivotal period for the business. You'll be trusted to take ownership, support business leaders through change and help shape a positive path forward for both managers and employees.
If you're available at short notice, enjoy rolling your sleeves up and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment undergoing transformation, we'd love to hear from you.
Immediate interviews available.
