Description:

We are supporting an NHS organisation in the Yorkshire region to recruit an interim to support on Employee Relations Casework and other general HR duties.

Main role responsibilities:

* To lead on complex investigations, disciplinary issues and grievances and provide coaching and support to managers involved in the process;

* To act autonomously and with limited supervision to provide professional Human Resources and support on a range of issues involving increasing levels of complexity;

* To deliver a range of other employee relations services including but not limited to the interpretation of employment legislation, change management and organisational development;

* To provide support, advice and guidance to the team;

* To deputise at Directorate Board Meetings and in other forums as required;

* To be responsible for the delivery of other ad-hoc initiatives and projects as and when required;

* To work with colleagues to coordinate the BAU workload within the operational HR team and to play an active role in team meetings and the development of efficient team systems and practices;

* To oversee the co-ordination of hearings and participate in disciplinary, grievance, capability and appeal hearings as appropriate;

* With guidance and support from HR Business Partners, design and deliver training sessions on HR practice, policy and procedural issues;

* To undertake research and analysis as and when required;

* Ensure local HR information systems are developed and maintained and produce information and reports in support of work objectives as required;

* To ensure compliance with equal opportunities principles in all areas of people management throughout the Trust.

Essential skills and experience:

* CIPD Status or equivalent by experience;

* Strong experience on complex employee relations;

* Experience of policy comparison/harmonisation.

Intersite travel may be required of which expenses will be claimable
