Our client is a well-known design consultancy who is looking to recruit a Senior Highways Engineer for their Manchester office. Whether you are a Civil Engineer looking for the next step in your career, or a Senior Engineer who's is looking for a change of environment, you are welcome to apply!

What you need to succeed:

Minimum of 6 years' experience
Experience in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage
A working knowledge of QGIS would be preferable.
Knowledge with local authority standards and DMRBThe role:

Provision of technical inputs across the highways specialism including geometrical design, detailed design to the Specification for Highway Works, earthworks analysis, active travel and drainage design.
Work as part of the team to undertake a range of technical design and written deliverables.
Show technical competence including the use of software such as Civils 3D, InfoDrainage and the Microsoft Office Suite of programmes.
Plan, lead and undertake site visits, as required.
Act as a mentor to others
