£13.77 per hour inc paid breaks
Location: Wetherby
Contract: Full Time 42 hours per week

My clients home in the Wetherby area is lead by an experienced manager who offers support through out the home on a daily basis. The home is set in a beautiful location and offers a wide range of activities meaning that no day is the same. My client is looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant who has either worked at Senior Level or would be interested in stepping up in their career.
Responsibilities of the Senior Healthcare Assistant role:
* Provide a high level of care and attention to residents with all their needs
* Understand and adhere to company policies and all statutory and legal requirements
* Participating and developing person centred care plans, administering medications and ensuring that records are accurate and up to date
* Liaise with other care professionals relating to the care needs of the resident
Person specification of the Senior Healthcare Assistant role:
* Good numeric and literacy skills
* Experience of working in a caring environment
* NVQ2 in Direct Care
* A warm and friendly disposition
* Good communication skills, able to put others at ease
* A strong team worker
* Supervisory/leadership skills
* Supportive and patient
* Reliable and punctual
* Willingness to develop new skills (to NVQ 3)
