Description:
A Senior Geotechnical Engineer position has come available in the Portsmouth area to help delivery of extremely complicated and high value coastal, flood and water schemes incorporating transportation, development and infrastructure.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be situated within a talented ground engineering design team working in collaboration with the wider civil and structural engineers to deliver a range of D&B projects. Recent examples include complicated coastal developments, cliff stabilisation, cliff analysis and detailed design, huge embankments, retaining walls and sheet piles etc.
You will come in as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer and sit within the southern Geotechnical team helping with all aspects of technical reporting, conceptual to detailed design, construction supervision, project management and team development.
Design capabilities but not limited to surround all aspects of foundations, piles, retaining walls, temp works, embankments, slopes, micro tunnels etc. The use of all geotechnical software's including FE.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer Specification:
Degree educated in Civil Engineering or Geology but with a design background.
Chartered or approaching chartership
Extensive geotechnical detailed design experience within the UK.
Ability to write all Geotechnical related reports.
