Reporting to: Associate Director

I am looking to connect with Geo-Environmental Engineers who have over 5 years of experience to join an independent geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy located in the heart of Manchester. This consultancy specializes in providing practical and commercially focused ground engineering and environmental solutions. Their projects span a variety of sectors across the Northwest, including:
- Commercial developments
- Large infrastructure
- Industrial regeneration
- Brownfield redevelopment schemes
The role
*
Lead and manage geo-environmental projects from tender stage through to completion
*
Preparing and reviewing Phase 1 Desk studies & Phase 2 Site Investigation reports
*
Mentoring junior staff members
*
Undertake & supervise site investigations
*
Manage risk assessments & remediation strategies
*
Client liaison
*
Supporting health & safety compliance and maintaining high technical standards
Requirements
*
Relevant degree in Geology, Environmental Science etc
*
MSc would be desirable but, not essential
*
Minimum 5+ years' experience
*
Strong understanding of UK contaminated land legalisation and planning requirements
*
Excellent report writing and communication skills
*
Full UK driving license
