Senior FP&A Analyst

London – hybrid working model (2 days per week in the office, 3 days per week remote)

Excellent day rate available

The FP&A Senior Analyst will work closely with the FP&A Manager to develop and deliver high quality reporting and data insights for the Commercial Finance function and wider business. A key focus of the Senior FP&A Analyst will be to ensure data accuracy and integrity and the ability to create valuable insights. We are on a journey to enable the business to self-serve on PowerBI and this role will be pivotal in this transformation.

What will you be doing?

•           Coordinate the month end closing process and deliver financial reports in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality of data.

•           Own the delivery of the full range of Monthly Financial KPI reporting packs communicated to Senior Leadership.

•           Highlight key financial Risks and Opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team by maintaining the monthly register in collaboration with the Finance Business Partners and ensuring it remains fully up to date.

•           Own the Strategic and Corporate Objectives reporting process (monthly and forecasted) in close collaboration with the Business Leaders and monitor performance against the target.

•           Maintain and coordinate the monthly reporting of Cost Efficiencies, challenging the Finance Business Partners to ensure accuracy and completeness.

•           Support the Commercial Finance forecast activities for each quarter customer ‘Charging Statement’ and ‘Indicative Budget’, the annual business plan and DCC’s long term plan.

•           Identify blockers and drive continuous improvements to the current reporting system, financial processes and business analysis. Work closely with the FP&A Manager, Head of FP&A, Finance Business Partners and the wider business to effect change.

What are we looking for?

•                    Experience of working in a senior FP&A Analyst role with excellent Excel and communication skills.            

•                    Track record of implementing change to improve financial processes and has an analytical approach to problem solving.

•                    An eye for detail, ability to review/quality assure documentation and provide constructive feedback.

•                    Confident dealing with non-financial stakeholders and excellent at building and managing effective working relationships.

•                    Demonstrates initiative and takes responsibility for issues, seeing them through to completion and has curiosity, and a desire to explore a range of options to develop the right solution.

•                    CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified equivalent.
