Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

What will you do?
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of strategy and implementation, using your analytical and communication skills to guide business strategy across partnerships, product development and investment.
You will be responsible for capturing financial data, building models and validating assumptions, performing analyses, summarising and presenting results.
-Reporting directly to the CEO, work with Senior Management to identify and scope key questions and hypotheses, and independently define and implement research and analysis projects to support commercial and fundraising activities
-You will have ownership of the company’s knowledge base that underpin our suite of financial models and participate collaborate with Senior Management to stress test and improve these models
-You will prepare and deliver presentations with findings and analysis to internal and external stakeholders
What do you need to be successful?
You'll have proven experience within a financial analyst role with a strong analytical approach and effective communication skills. You're able to collaborate well with people at all levels across the organisation and work with a high degree of autonomy and an entrepreneurial spirit.
-A degree-level qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Experience independently addressing and supporting requests: understanding the core question being asked, capturing needed data, building models and validating assumptions
-Experience in performing analyses, summarising and presenting results to improve financial planning and operation
-Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to simplify and present complex analytical concepts to an executive audience
Nice to have, but not essential
-Proficiency with Python (desirable)
-Experience working within the energy or hardware tech sector
