Location: Wantage (Fully Office-Based)

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)

Requirements:

* Car driver essential due to the remote location of the offices.

* Ideally holding or pursuing AAT qualifications.

* Experience with Sage 50.

* Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

About the Company:

Global CTS Recruitment is working with a client based in Wantage seeking a Finance Coordinator. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone aiming to advance their career or who has experience in a similar finance role within a small business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director and handle all aspects of the finance department's operations.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

Daily Tasks:

* Credit Control: Managing credit control to ensure timely payments.

* Sales Ledger: Maintaining sales ledger accuracy.

* Customer Payment Allocation: Allocating customer payments correctly.

* Invoice Queries: Addressing customer invoice queries and Proof of Delivery (POD) requests.

* Chasing Invoices: Ensuring the company meets its debtor days target by following up on outstanding invoices.

* Banking: Banking cheques.

* Invoice Finance Provider Liaison: Handling payment allocation queries with the invoice finance provider.

* Clearing Invoice Disapprovals: Resolving verifications and credit limit issues.

Weekly Tasks:

* Bank Reconciliations: Performing weekly bank reconciliations.

* Cash Flow Forecasting: Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts.

* Purchase Invoices: Entering and posting purchase invoices onto Sage.

* Chasing Approvers: Ensuring purchase invoices are posted to Sage by approvers.

* Supplier Statement Reconciliation: Reconciling supplier statements.

* Payment Runs: Setting up and calculating payment runs as required.

* Payments & Remittance: Posting payments and sending remittance advices.

Monthly Tasks:

* Management Accounts: Preparing monthly management accounts.

* Carbon Footprint Data: Collating data for carbon footprint appraisals.

* Inter-Company Accounts: Reconciling inter-company accounts.

* Aged Reports: Running aged debtor and creditor reports.

* Monthly Statements: Sending out monthly statements to debtors.

* Credit Card Analysis: Analyzing and posting company credit card statements.

* Employee Expenses: Overseeing employee expenses.

* Invoice Finance Reconciliation: Reconciling invoice finance at month-end.

* Intercompany Recharge Invoices: Raising, posting, and sending any intercompany recharge invoices.

Ad-Hoc Tasks:

Audit Assistance: Helping with audit tasks, Budget Assistance: Assisting in annual budget preparation, HR Support: Supporting HR-related tasks, H&S Support: Assisting with health and safety tasks, Travel Arrangements: Booking travel and accommodation as needed.

Key Performance Measurements:

Debtor Days: Maintaining debtor days to a minimum.

Invoice Finance Reconciliation: Submitting reconciliations by the 10th of each month.

Management Accounts: Submitting management accounts by the 5th working day of each month.

Cashflow Forecast: Submitting weekly cashflow forecasts.

Clean Audits: Ensuring audits are clean and accurate.
