Senior Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager
Hertfordshire (Hybrid - 3 days office)
Up to £68,000 (OTE over £77K with consistent bonus) + Excellent Benefits

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a driven Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) ideally with some previous experience of mentoring junior members of a team and with the ability to act as a true Finance Business Partner to operational leaders providing a mix of financial control, financial management, financial planning and reporting.

The successful candidate will be a pivotal part of the leadership team and must therefore be comfortable expressing their opinion and appropriately challenging the team to help drive optimal business/financial decisions.

More detail: -

* Management and support to the development of the wider team.
* Assist in the preparation of the multi-year business plan and annual budgets
* Reporting KPI's on a timely basis, achievement against these targets, including preparation of financial year forecasts.
* Providing financial reporting and management of major projects including margin management, tracking revenue, cost management, cash management and customer reporting/interfacing.
* Working with clients, external advisors and auditors to maintain integrity of project financials.
* As a key Finance Business Partner act as a key member of the leadership team, promoting financial awareness and ensuring projects are deliver to budget and planned performance.
* Provide financial support to commercial teams providing robust financial insight and assistance.
* Actively seeking and driving improvements in working practices.

To apply we ask that you meet the following criteria:

* Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA with post qualification experience or equivalent.
* Previous experience of both financial control, financial planning and finance business partnering ideally with a project accounting environment or similar.
* Experience managing multiple stakeholders and conflicting demands and deadlines is essential.
* Previous experience of leading or mentoring team members.
* Comfortable working closely & communicating effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues.
* Pro-active leader of change, willing to bring new ideas and experiences to the team and influence ways of working across finance and non-finance areas.
