Location: ANY of the following locations: London, Bradford, Reading, Bristol, Glasgow.

Working pattern: EXCELLENT FLEXIBILITY - 1 day a week in the office!!

???? Role Purpose:

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial information and decision support to the UK Construction Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for monthly management reporting, coordination of business planning and auditing processes, and supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc reporting and analysis. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact for finance systems for the Construction Finance Team.

???? Key Accountabilities:

Act as a trusted business partner to the Construction Board and Retail Senior Leadership Team.
Provide fact-based analysis to support financial and commercial proposals, enabling informed decision-making.
Ensure timely communication with finance team members to meet deadlines.
Proactively identify opportunities, champion process improvements, and drive cost-saving initiatives to achieve business objectives.???? Financial Management and Reporting:

Collaborate with the Finance Shared Service team to analyse Divisional and Central overhead costs.
Deliver clear insights into business financial performance by reviewing and reporting on key risks and sensitivities.
Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including KPIs and commentary for the Senior Leadership Team Consolidation.
Coordinate Forecasts and Business Plans for the Construction Retail BU and Central Overheads.???? Cash Management and Reporting:

Develop weekly cash flow forecasts for the Construction Retail BU.
Collaborate with Divisional Commercial teams to produce long-term cash forecasts, considering prospective new projects' impact.
Monitor and report on cash forecast KPIs.
Support the Construction FD with Consolidation review and analysis for overall Construction Cash Flow Forecasts.???? Coordination and Consolidation:

Support the consolidation and coordination of month-end activities across the Construction BU.
Oversee the consolidation and coordination of the Business Plan for the Construction BU.
Coordinate the Commercial Year End Audit for the Construction BU.???? Compliance/Governance/Systems:

Ensure adherence to governance and approval policies issued by the organisation's Board.
Regularly review and update in-systems governance for the entire Construction BU in collaboration with the Construction FD.
Serve as the central point of contact for finance systems-related queries and interfaces on behalf of the Construction Finance Team.???? Required Skills & Experience:

Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of management and financial accounting.
Excellent communication skills, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Outstanding organisational, time management, and workload management abilities.
Computer literacy, including experience with core Financial Systems and advanced Excel skills.
Construction industry or project/contract management experience is advantageous.
