Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? BIMM University is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and providing accurate financial information to support our institution's operations.
What You'll do:
* Transaction Processing: Process and analyse financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes
* Journal Entries: Prepare monthly journal entries such as accruals, prepayments, and recharges to maintain financial records
* Reconciliation: Support balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
* Planning Support: Assist in the annual planning cycle by contributing to plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with Finance Business Partners
* Reporting Assistance: Contribute to monthly management reporting and provide detailed analysis as needed
* Student Analytics: Assist with student analytics and income reporting to help understand financial trends
* Utilities and Rent Management: Produce schedules for utilities, rents, and rates to ensure accurate financial tracking
* Project Support: Provide assistance on finance projects as required
What You'll Bring:
* Experience working in a fast-paced business function
* Proficiency in finance systems
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* General business and commercial experience
